I can easily hear Shirley's soft voive saying 'Hello Ali' in my head.
Shirley was a great precence in my life, supportive, funny and just across the road. I have many happy memories of street parties and christmas and new years celebrations with Shirley and Peter.
Shirley gave empathy and advice through my growing up years of angst, she had seen it all before with Gary and Andrew!
In the 90's, when I was travelling, Shirley was the Hadleigh Drive email lifline, providing up to date evidence that I was still alive, in a world before social media.
When Scarlett came along visits to Hadleigh Drive would always include a toddle across to see Shirely.
45 years of fond memories.
Thinking of all the fun times today.

Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. She was a wonderful lady who enjoyed her life. She is now at peace and reunited with Peter. The brightest star will always be with you. Love to all the family, Mandy and Andy x

Shirley will be missed deeply, memories of our Suffolk lunches together will be forever in my heart. We shared the
most outrageous stories over many glasses of white wine. Thank you dear friend.
